Roger Glenn, master multi-instrumentalist, composer and entertainer on the flute, sax, clarinet and vibraphone, is the son of the late Tyree Glenn, one of 57 notable jazz musicians pictured in the historic photo “A Great Day in Harlem,” and who worked with jazz icons including Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway and Louis Armstrong.

Roger entered the jazz scene at an early age and has worked and recorded with such legends as Dizzy Gillespie, Mongo Santamaria, Rosemary Clooney, Herbie Mann and Pete Escovedo. His flute playing is featured on the Grammy-award winning album “La Onda Va Bien” with Cal Tjader, as well as many notable recordings by Donald Byrd, Peaches and Herb, ConFunkShun, and Taj Mahal and the Hula Blues Band. Roger has recently released his long-awaited album as a leader with “My Latin Heart” to high acclaim, and currently #31 on the JazzWeek charts.

His greatest passion is Latin Jazz, but his musical horizons extend broadly into jazz, classical, and popular styles. ROGER GLENN JAZZ ORGAN TRIO performs music from some of the classic jazz organ trios and was instrumental as the opening band for Steely Dan in 2015.

Wayne De La Cruz performing sideman, leader, composer, arranger began his musical endeavors at the age of 9 with a set of drums and playing along with records and the radio. While in Jr. High his father bought him a used vibraphone that he began playing in the school jazz band. While in High school at the age of 14 he made the move to the keyboard and began playing organ and piano. He settled on keyboards as his main instrument and got his first Hammond organ when he was 16. Because of his passion for the Hammond organ, after many years of compromising the Hammond sound using a variety of keyboards, in 2003 he decided to bring the Hammond B-3 back to the forefront. As a result he is now performing on it more than ever in the classic and modern organ trio style.

Drummer Mark Lee has a wealth of experience performing on the San Francisco / Bay Area music scene instrumentally, musical theater. He has also backed vocalist Ernestine Anderson, Freda Payne, Charles Brown, Mary Lou Henner, Stephanie Powers, The Pointer Sisters and many more.
