FAQ
What is the cost to attend a performance?
Tickets for our Headlining Performances can vary, so please check the ticket pricing for the specific show you want to see. Our typical ticket prices are $25 to $50 for shows. Saturday Late Night Sets are $15.
We DO NOT offer refunds for purchased tickets, however you may request to exchange your tickets for another show on the calendar in cases of extenuating circumstance. To request an exchange please email info@keysjazzbistro.com
Where are my Tickets?
Our tickets operate with a “Will-Call” style system. Simply provide your name upon arrival and we will check you in. No physical tickets are provided.
If for any reason you do not receive your confirmation email, but did get a confirmation after check out, WE DO have your information and will be able to check you in upon arrival
What time are the performances?
We host our main performers at 7pm and 9pm, Wednesday through Saturday. Sunday performances are at 5pm and 7pm.
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before showtime to ensure a seat of your choice.
Saturday also features an 10:30pm show, featuring our house Original 1973 Hammond B3 Organ.
Are seats assigned?
We seat the room on a first come, first serve basis. The queue for seating begins when the Bar & Lounge opens.
If you have a group purchasing separately that would like to sit together, please leave a note with the primary guests name when booking. Reservations Notes can be left while checking out, below your payment method and above the “Place Order” button. Emailing groups seating requests does not guarantee group seating.
Please Note: When a performance is fully booked, every seat will have a guest which may require sharing of tables. Arrive early to ensure your seat. We kindly ask that at least half of your party is here before heading into the Listening Room.
Do I need a dinner reservation?
No dinner reservations are necessary or accepted. The Listening Room is full service and you are welcome to dine and drink during the performances.
At Keys, you are welcome to dine in our Bar & Lounge area without a ticket/cover charge. Stop by to listen to the concerts live and enjoy a beverage!
Is there a Food and Beverage minimum purchase required?
There is no food or beverage minimum for full priced tickes.
What is a Listening Room?
Traditionally, a Listening Room is an intimate performance space intended for just that… listening! Our intent is that the attention be focused on the artists performing, and that the music not be relegated to backgroud music for conversation and dining. We ask that you keep all conversation to a minimum and welcome you into the bar area if you’d like to converse.
Do you have a separate bar and dining space?
Upon entering Keys, you’ll be welcomed into our Bar and Lounge which once was the historic ’50s Jazz Club, El Matador. There is no cover charge to join us in this space and you’re welcome to dine from the menu as well.
We do provide full service dining in our Listening Room so you can enjoy the performance without interruptions.
What parking options are available?
There are a number of parking lot options within 1 block of Keys. Near the corner of Montgomery & Broadway is a small multi-level lot, and there is another small lot located at 530 Broadway that has an active attendant. Parking rates vary. Some patrons have had success with the SpotHero app which helps to locate available parking in the neighborhood.
*We DO NOT recommend the lot immediately next door at 470 Broadway*
Do you have a full bar and kitchen?
We do have a fully stocked bar, with a wonderful variety of wines from around the world. Our kitchen offers a nice selection of appetizers, entrees and dessert items to enjoy before or during your show.
Our kitchen opens at 5pm during Happy Hour. Full dinner service is typically available 6pm until last call, and Saturday’s until 10pm unless otherwise stated.
Do you have a Happy Hour or Specials?
Happy Hour is hosted in our Lounge from 5 – 6 pm Wed – Saturday
Does Keys offer discounted and/or Student tickets?
Yes! Keys has partnered with the Independant Musicians Alliance, a Bay area non-profit, to provide discounted tickets to active IMA Members, as well as Students and Educators with valid, current School ID.
For 7pm and 9pm shows, students must email info@keysjazzbistro.com from your student email or personal email with a photo of your valid student ID. We will respond with a discount code for a $10 discount and you can complete your purchase online.
The discount code is valid per guest, per performance. If purchasing for others, please be prepared to show student ID or proof of enrollment upon arrival.
