Louisiana born-and-raised living legend Jules Broussard has been blowing away Bay Area audiences with his double-saxophone serenades and soulful solos for over 60 years. It’s rare to glimpse such living history in such an intimate setting, but this is your lucky night in NOLA Tunisia.
No stranger to the Keys stage, Jules brings his freshly minted New Orleans Jazz Band comprising Bay Area jazz veterans Ned Boynton on guitar, Kevin Gerzevitz on piano/keys, Bob Blankenship on drums, and Derek Evans and Romalyn Schmaltz on vocals. Sunday, May 3, 2026 @ 7pm
A long time ago, in a city far away… Jeff Marrs, Jason Muscat and Adam Shulman played for many years in a church band. The postludes at the church were an opportunity for them to play whatever they wanted and the result was a funky fusion of jazz and rock and pop music. They were all huge Star Wars fans and decided to channel their musical creativity into making funky fusion arrangements of John William’s iconic music. Wampa was born! They decided at that point to bring on Jesse Levit on saxophone and EWI which provided tons of fire and different textures.
Wampa takes you on a journey through the music of Star Wars but in a way that you don’t expect! We have a lot of fun with this music and we hope you will too

Suzanna Smith
Tickets
Saturday, May 2, 2026 @ 7pm
Returning to Keys, Suzanna Smith fronts another stellar ensemble to work her magic around the Peggy Lee songbook. “There are relatively few contemporary female vocalists who evoke Peggy Lee, at least not genuinely. Suzanna Smith numbers among that rare ilk. That Smith sounds like Lee — slightly breathy and warmly sensual with a hint of huskiness — is undeniable, but the parallels extend much further. Lee’s ability to not just caress a ballad but smother it in mink has seldom been matched. She was also a sage swinger — never too much, never too little — as well as a first-rate songwriter. Smith checks all those boxes.”

Tickets
Friday, May 1, 2026 @ 7pm
Join Eamonn Flynn and Dublinesque for a special show to celebrate Bealtaine at 7pm on May 1st at Keys Jazz Bistro in San Francisco.
Bealtaine is an ancient Irish festival celebrated on May 1st, marking the beginning of summer, growth, and fertility. Traditionally, it involves lighting bonfires, driving cattle between fires for protection, decorating with yellow flowers, and rituals for prosperity. It is a celebration of light, marking the halfway point between the spring equinox and summer solstice.
The most famous song associated with Bealtaine is called in Gaelic: ‘Thugamar Féin an Samhradh Linn’ (we have brought the Summer with us) and dates from as far back as the 12th century. Hear Eamonn Flynn play an instrumental version of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29NIqzMLK1c
Dublinesque features:
Eamonn Flynn: Vocals and piano. From Dublin, Ireland Flynn played on the soundtrack of the hit film The Commitments and has performed with artists like Elvin Bishop, Michael Franti, Zigaboo Modeliste and Maria Muldaur and is currently organist/ pianist at Glide Memorial Church.
Darcy Noonan: Fiddle and vocals. A key figure in the Bay Area traditional music scene with an exciting and expressive style of her own.
Felim Egan: Accordion, bodhran and vocals. From Offaly, Ireland. A master button accordion player.

The show is designed to recreate the atmosphere of a lively Dublin house party where “music, stories, and laughter flow freely”.

Jazz Mafia’s Realistic Orchestra
Tickets
Sunday, April 26, 2026 @ 5pm
Sunday, April 26, 2026 @ 7pm
Now entering its second year, Jazz Mafia’s Monthly Residency has become a laboratory for magic—unexpected collaborations, long-awaited reunions, spontaneous experiments that somehow turn into fan favorites, and the kind of once-in-a-room moments that help define the Bay Area scene. To launch 2026, we’re taking that spirit to the extreme by bringing in one of the flagship ensembles of the entire Jazz Mafia universe: the 18-piece Realistic Orchestra.
Formed in 2004 by drummer/composer Eric Garland and Adam Theis, Realistic Orchestra is a modern electro-acoustic big band built from the core musicians and co-founders who shaped Jazz Mafia from the beginning. The group blends classic big-band instrumentation with futuristic textures, original compositions, bold arrangements, and a long history of cross-disciplinary collaborations. Born during the legendary “Jazz Mafia Tuesdays” era, Realistic Orchestra spent years premiering new works every week, creating a unique sound that sits somewhere between jazz orchestra, film score, electronic music, underground hip-hop session, and experimental theater pit.
For this special residency kickoff, the full 18-piece ensemble squeezes into two of the Bay Area’s most intimate rooms—an ambitious, joyful, slightly absurd idea that channels everything the residency stands for: community, risk-taking, and big musical visions in close quarters.
One night, Eighteen musicians. A 2026 launch with heavyweight sonic firepower.

Tickets
Sunday, April 19, 2026 @ 5pm
Sunday, April 19, 2026 @ 7pm
The Roger Glenn Jazz Organ Trio brings the soulful tradition of the classic Hammond B-3 jazz organ trio to life with swing, groove, and deep improvisation.
Master multi-instrumentalist Roger Glenn—on flute, saxophone, and vibraphone—is the son of the late Tyree Glenn, one of the 57 jazz greats pictured in the historic photo A Great Day in Harlem, and a longtime collaborator of jazz icons including Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, and Louis Armstrong.
Entering the jazz world at an early age, Roger has performed and recorded with legendary artists including Dizzy Gillespie, Mongo Santamaria, Rosemary Clooney, and Herbie Mann. His flute playing is featured on Cal Tjader’s Grammy-winning album La Onda Va Bien, as well as recordings with Donald Byrd, Peaches & Herb, and Con Funk Shun. In addition to leading his own ensembles, Roger has toured with Taj Mahal, Kurt Elling, and The Count Basie Orchestra.
In 2025 he released his acclaimed Latin jazz album My Latin Heart, which has spent 26 weeks on the JazzWeek charts and has received worldwide radio airplay and enthusiastic critical praise.
Roger’s musical roots run deep in Latin jazz, but his artistry spans jazz, classical, and popular styles. With the Roger Glenn Jazz Organ Trio, he celebrates the rich tradition of organ trio masters—combining soulful grooves, blues, bebop, and Latin influences. The group was also featured as the opening band for Steely Dan in 2015.
Keyboardist Wayne De La Cruz began his musical journey at age nine on drums before discovering vibraphone and eventually the Hammond organ. By sixteen he had acquired his first Hammond B-3 and committed himself to the instrument’s distinctive sound. After years of performing on various keyboards, he returned to the classic Hammond B-3 in 2003 and now performs extensively in the traditional and modern organ trio style.
Drummer Mark Lee brings decades of experience on the San Francisco Bay Area music scene, performing in jazz ensembles and musical theater productions. He has also backed notable artists including Ernestine Anderson, Freda Payne, Charles Brown, Mary Lou Henner, Stephanie Powers, and The Pointer Sisters.

Liz Kennedy
Tickets
Thursday, April 16, 2026 @ 7pm
After going through a whirlwind of life changes, the San Francisco-based singer-songwriter, Liz Kennedy, has come to see songwriting not as a choice but as something she has to do. She says music sustains her and offers a way forward. Her decade-plus as a critically acclaimed recording artist has built her confidence in her ever-unfolding identity as a quirky, often humorous, and always insightful storyteller committed to honesty and to finding something unique to say.
Kennedy describes herself as honest and observant and adds, “I sure hope I can easily laugh at myself.” Her songcraft – where the lyrics always follow the music – perfectly reflects that thoughtful self-assessment. The fascinating part of the process is not knowing just where the inspiration will come from. “It’s strange how emotional pain and joy can equally send you racing to the piano to capture something … whether it’s a butterfly or a heavy brick.

“Hammond Organ Party! is an exceptional collaboration…Rose and De La Cruz have hit a home run!” – Pete Fallico, Doodlin’ Lounge
“Outstanding vocals…Rose hits that jazz & soul sweet spot with Wayne De La Cruz and Hammond Organ Party!” Frank-John Hadley, DownBeat

EAMONN FLYNN & DUBLINESQUE: St. Patrick’s Weekend Party
Tickets
Sunday, March 15, 2026 @ 5pm
Sunday, March 15, 2026 @ 7pm
Join Eamonn Flynn and his new Irish music quartet Dublinesque for a pre St. Patrick’s Parade Party!
Eamonn Flynn forges his own brand of Irish soul. The Dublin-born singer-songwriter/pianist got his start with The Commitments, a hit film about an Irish soul band, and has since worked with American blues and R&B stars Elvin Bishop, Maria Muldaur, Evelyn Champagne King, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Zigaboo Modeliste (The Meters), The Ray Charles Project, and many more. Flynn’s new Irish music oriented quartet DUBLINESQUE brings his deep soul and gospel roots together with the Irish music traditions he was raised on.
“Dublinesque is my attempt to recreate the kind of parties we had in my parent’s house, growing up in Dublin,” explains Flynn. “There’d be neighbours and friends and it would always end up as a sing-song/jam session. Everyone would participate – if you couldn’t hold a tune you’d perform a ‘recitation’ or tell a joke!
“There was never any delineation between genres of music – whether it was Irish tunes and ballads, soul music or a Beatles song,” he emphasizes.
The band brings together three talented Bay Area Irish traditional musicians: fellow Irishman Félim Egan (The Black Brothers) on accordion, local favorite Darcy Noonan on fiddle, and from Basque country, Spain, Hector Bragado on banjo. They are also sometimes joined by special guests. Previous guests have included Glide Memorial Choir, Mary Black, Róisín O, Michael Black, Shay Black, Autumn Rhodes, Margaret Graham and dancers from the Kennelly, Dillon and Whelan Schools of Irish Dance and the Cooley-Keegan Branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí. The last time they played at Key’s, Maria Muldaur joined them to sing a song. You never know who will show up. Either way, it’s always a joyful, celebratory evening of music, stories and fun.Tickets: $40 per show

Suzanna Smith

Sunday, March 8, 2026 @ 5pm
Sunday, March 8, 2026 @ 7pm

Led by vocalist Emily Day (“one of the major singers in her field” – Scott Yanow), Cosmo Alleycats draws from several decades of exhilarating American music, along with inspired originals, to deliver a fun and engaging performance.

Sherri Roberts: “I’m Hip!” A Tribute to the Hep-Cats of Jazz
Tickets
Sunday, February 22, 2026 @ 5pm
Sunday, February 22, 2026 @ 7pm
“I’m Hip!”- A Tribute to the Hep-Cat Singer/Songwriters of Jazz: Matt Dennis, Bobby Troup, Dave Frishberg, and Bob Dorough
They wrote the hippest songs of the times ( like “Route 66”, “Angel Eyes”, and that satirical anthem of the genre,“I’m Hip!”,) recorded by the era’s greatest stars, including Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and Billie Holiday. Yet they themselves were also unrepentant Lounge Lizards and Jazz Club Rats, craving the occasional spotlight and itching to play the piano and croon their wares to their own finger popping audiences.
Drawing a fascinating connection between the Bebop innovators of the 1940’s and 50’s, the Beat generation that revered them, and these hipster singer/songwriters who drank from the wellspring (not to mention the martini glasses!) of both, Vocalist Sherri Roberts returns to Keys with a program that pays tribute to the “Craftsmen of Cool.” Their joyfully clever songs weren’t written for stage or sentimental films, but for jazz singers to sing to jazz audiences- conversational, witty, blue-sy, and hip!
Called “a superior bop and standards vocalist “ by the Los Angeles Times, Sherri promises to bring her own distinct “West Coast Cool” vibe to this entertaining program. JazzTimes said it best: “How appropriate that Sherri Roberts opens with Bobby Troup’s “You’re Looking at Me.” For, stylistically, Roberts bears a significant resemblance to Mrs. Troup, gin ’n’ satin seductress Julie London. But where London’s voice was pale and distant as a winter moon, Roberts’ is all dappled sunshine…Enchanting.”

Akira Tana- drums
