Saxophonist Patrick Wolff Patrick Wolff is a jazz saxophone and clarinet player with a long history in the jazz scenes of New York City and San Francisco. His playing has been characterized by a focus on lyricism and an embrace of the whole lineage of jazz styles. Drummer Matt WIlson is widely recognized as one of the great drummers and bandleaders in jazz, and is a veteran of the bands of Dewey Redman, Charlie Haden, Dena Derose, and more. United in their passions for the B side tunes, obscure musician’s musicians, and in their commitment to explore and swing hard at the boundaries of post bop jazz. Wolff and Wilson have shared the stage at numerous venues over the last 15 years, from Smalls in NY to the Stanford Jazz Festival. This particular lineup has been playing together for three years, and has become a Keys Jazz Bistro tradition.
